How to use the poker client to play at Poker Heaven
In the main lobby, you can find your poker game, see upcoming tournaments and promotions, access The Player Zone, and change your settings. To log into the poker client, simply click the ‘login’ button in the lower right corner, and enter your username and password.
Once you are logged in, this button will become the ‘cashier’ button. Click here to access the cashier pages to make a deposit/withdraw using one of our many secure options.
When you are logged in, your nickname, real money balance, pending bonus and frequent player points (FPPs) will be displayed in the ‘poker info’ box in the top right of the lobby. The pending bonus displays your current active bonus balance. As you play, we will automatically release €5 at the time from your pending bonus account into your real money account. Your nickname is your unique identifier at the poker tables.
You can choose the kind of game you wish to play using the 6 main game tabs at the top of the client.
Texas Hold’em: All Hold’em games appear here, available at fixed limit stakes, pot limit, or no limit.
Omaha: All Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo games appear here, available at fixed limit stakes or pot limit.
Stud Games: All 7 card stud, 5 card stud and SOKO games are available here. These games are all available at fixed limit stakes.
5 Card Draw: All regular 5 card draw and 7-A 5 card draw games are available here. These games are available at fixed limit and pot limit stakes.
Sit & Go: All sit ‘n’ go tournaments appear here, those in progress and those you can join.
Multi tourney: All tournaments (except sit-and-go tournaments) appear here, those in progress and those for which you can sign up.
Using the game selection filters below the tabs you can limit the types of tables that will appear in the lobby.
You can choose to sort tables by fixed limit, pot limit and no limit or to participate on practice tables or a private game that may be in progress.
You can also use the game selection filters to limit the sorts of tournaments that are displayed to you. You can select to see all tables, full table tournaments, short-handed tournaments, heads-up tournament, satellites and private tournaments.
Using the ‘hide tables’ checkboxes you can select exactly which type of tables you wish to be displayed in the lobby.
You can choose to hide empty tables, full tables, tables with a certain number of seats (2, 5, 8, and 10) or any combination of these to show only the tables you wish to see in the lobby.
You can also select ‘start in miniview’ to open Hold’em or Omaha tables in miniview mode.
You can join a game by double-clicking on the table and then sit down by clicking on any available seat. If the game is full you click the “join waitinglist” button to join the waiting list for the selected table or the first available seat at the same stakes as the one selected. You may also choose to exclude tables with a minimum number of players. Your name immediately gets added to the end of the waiting list/s.
Using the ‘settings’ tab in the client you can choose to personalise the client to look and feel just the way you want.
It is possible to enable or disable sound effects, use a four colour deck or run the poker client in either windowed or full screen mode. You can also choose to change the poker client to be displayed in your time zone.
Want to find a friend at one of the tables? Simply use the ‘find player’ tab, search for the player’s nickname and you’ll be able to see exactly what they’re playing as well as being able view their table!
Using the The Player Zone tab you can access The Player Zone. This will open in a browser window.
Here you can monitor, develop and improve your poker skills. You can access all sorts of helpful information such as a buddy list, FPP tracker, rake tracker, profit tracker as well as your current VIP status and how many FPPs you need to reach the next level!
Using the options under the support tab you can find a number of ways to answer any questions or solve any problems you may have.
