Poker Heaven Helsinki Freezeout Freeroll
On January 10th 2009, Poker Heaven hosted the 2nd annual Helsinki Freezeout Freeroll at the Amras Club in Helsinki. This was a No Limit Texas Holdem Freeroll with the top 10 finishers receiving a seat into the Helsinki Freezeout Main Event worth €3,000. The venue itself was very well laid out and was the perfect size for such an event.
Tournament Director Teresa Nousiainen and her team of dealers did a great job in the running of the tournament, and it was terrific to see the appearance of so many celebrities such as Kim Herald, Jukka Hilden and Markus Selin. There was also an unlimited free bar which helped calm some pre-tournament nerves! As most of the players who participated in this tournament were online players this was a great chance for them to experience the thrill of live poker, and judging by the great feedback from players the Poker Heaven Helsinki Freezeout Freeroll was a great success and we look forward to organising many more tournaments like this in the near future.
