GUKPT Luton Results: Xie, McCullagh and Moghaddam Win Titles

Renee Xie made GUKPT history by winning the £560 Luton Main Event for £35,435. Ciaran McCullagh won the £1,000 High Roller, while Reza Moghaddam, Mariusz Czech, Keith Littlewood and others also secured titles across the Luton side event schedule.
The 2026 GUKPT Luton stop produced a series of notable results across its Main Event and side events, with Renee Xie making GUKPT history by becoming the first-ever female player to win a GUKPT Main Event.
Xie outlasted a 396-player field in the £560 GUKPT Luton Main Event to secure the £35,435 top prize. The victory came six legs into the 20th season of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT), marking a historic result for the long-running tour.
The £560 NLHE Main Event attracted 396 entrants and generated a £188,100 prize pool. Xie emerged as champion, earning £35,435 for the victory.
Her result also secured a place in GUKPT history, as she became the first-ever female GUKPT Main Event champion.
Ciaran McCullagh, who won the £1,000 High Roller earlier in the series, also reached the Main Event final stages. McCullagh finished fifth for £8,480.
McCullagh claimed victory in the £1,000 NLHE High Roller, which attracted 54 entrants and featured a £50,000 prize pool.
His first-place finish was worth £16,620. Combined with his subsequent fifth-place finish in the £560 Main Event for £8,480, McCullagh recorded £25,100 from those two results at GUKPT Luton.
McCullagh was one of two GUKPT Luton side event champions to return home with a five-figure haul from a single victory.
Reza Moghaddam won the £250 NLHE Mini Main after a 414-entry field competed for a £100,000 prize pool.
Moghaddam collected £19,250 for taking the title, making the Mini Main one of the standout side event results at the Luton stop.
GUKPT regulars Mariusz Czech and Keith Littlewood also secured victories during the series.
Czech won the £340 NLHE GUKPT Cup, which drew 147 entrants and created a £41,890 prize pool. His victory earned him £9,665.
Littlewood took down the £200 NLHE Closer for £2,600. That event recorded 75 entrants and a £9,500 prize pool.

Thomas Baggaley won the £150 NLHE Deepstacj, taking £4,150 from a £15,930 prize pool after 129 entrants participated.
Simon Chester won the £150 PLO, which attracted 114 entrants and generated a £14,080 prize pool. The top finisher had a payday of £2,750.
Paul Denman won the £200 NLHE Closer for £3,695. The event recorded 75 entrants and a £15,000 prize pool.
Arun Sood claimed the £200 NLHE Turbo title, earning £1,910 from a £5,300 prize pool. The Turbo attracted 31 entrants.
