WSOP Europe Ladies Championship
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is making a high-stakes statement for its 2026 European debut. As the festival prepares to land in Prague for the first time, organizers have officially bolstered the schedule with a brand-new €1,000 Ladies Championship, set to shuffle up and deal on Saturday, April 4.

This isn't just another side event. By bringing the Ladies Championship to the heart of Europe, the WSOP is doubling down on its commitment to providing a premier stage for women in poker, complete with the ultimate poker trophy.

A Bracelet with Extra Sparkle

The stakes in Prague go far beyond the prize pool. The winner of the Ladies Championship will be awarded a coveted WSOP gold bracelet, but with a twist.

To distinguish this achievement, the hardware features a unique design: a custom setting adorned with additional gemstones, marking it as a singular piece of history within the 2026 series.

“As we enter a new era for WSOP Europe in Prague, it was essential that our schedule reflected the full spectrum of the poker community,” said Ty Stewart, CEO of the WSOP.
“The Ladies Championship is always one of the most spirited environments in Las Vegas, and we’re thrilled to bring that same energy to Europe. We want this to be the definitive Ladies event on the continent.”

Star-Studded Field: UFC Champions and Poker Icons

The buzz has already translated into a stacked early entry list. Mackenzie Dern, the UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, was the first to put her name on the roster, signaling the event's crossover appeal.

She’ll be joined by an international "Who’s Who" of poker talent, including:
  • Leo Margets (Spain)
  • Vanessa Kade (Canada)
  • Kitty Kuo (Taiwan)
  • Xuan Liu (Canada)
  • Shiina Okamoto (Japan)
  • Cecile Ticherfatine (France)

The "vlogger" contingent is also out in force, with Ashley Frank, Abby Merk, and GGTeam’s Andrijana ‘Lijapoker’ Gligoric all confirmed to compete under the Prague lights.

The Road to €10,000,000

The Ladies Championship serves as a major highlight of a festival headlined by the massive €10,000,000-guaranteed WSOP Europe Main Event. With the addition of this championship, the 2026 Prague series is shaping up to be the most inclusive and high-profile European stop in WSOP history.

How to Qualify to WSOP Europe through GGPoker

To qualify for the 2026 WSOP Europe in Prague through GGPoker, international players can utilize the WSOP Express satellite system, which offers a streamlined path to a gold bracelet.

Starting for as little as $0.50, players can climb a four-step ladder: beginning with
  • Step 1 (All-in or Fold Sit & Gos)
  • Step 2 ($2)
  • Step 3 ($10 Target Stack)
  • Step 4 Final ($150).

These finals award "Bracelet Passes" and "Main Event Packages" that include the seat at the Hilton Prague and travel expenses.

Additionally, keep an eye out for special promotions like the "r/poker Goes To Prague" freebuy series, which offers a completely free path to the €5,000 Main Event for those who can navigate through weekly heats and a Grand Finale.
