  • APT 2027 features four festivals, focusing on Jeju and Taipei with two major events each.
  • Jeju Classic opens the season with KRW 2.2B guaranteed; the $10,000 Championship ends it in Taipei.
  • Compared to 2026, Incheon is dropped, and event timings and durations have been adjusted.
Asia Poker Tour (APT) 2027 Schedule
The Asian Poker Tour just unvailed its plans for 2027. Instead of stretching across three cities, next year, the tour will be focusing its efforts on just destinations to do much of the heavy lifting, as least for now.

Jeju and Taipei will each host two marquee festivals next season, beginning with a KRW 2.2 billion guaranteed Jeju Classic in January and finishing with the $10,000 APT Championship in Taipei in November.

What Changes From 2026?

Last year, APT unveiled five festivals for 2026: Jeju Classic, Taipei, Incheon, Jeju and the Championship. Now, the opening 2027 calendar contains four, with no word about Incheon.

Elsewhere, most of the changes are about timing and length. The Jeju Classic moves earlier while remaining a 10-day festival. Its Main Event guarantee stays at KRW 2.2 billion, but the buy-in falls slightly to KRW 2.2 million.

Taipei increases from 12 to 13 days after producing the largest non-Championship festival in APT history this spring. As of now, APT Jeju is currently scheduled for 10 days rather than the 13 played this year after the 2026 programme was extended.

The Championship remains 17 days and again revolves around a $10,000 freezeout.

This Year Set the Bar

The 2026 Jeju Classic already showed what the 2027 opener will be measured against. The 2026 Main Event attracted 1,718 entries at KRW 2.3 million each. The final prize pool reached KRW 3.414 billion, more than KRW 1.2 billion above the guarantee, and William Li took KRW 579.6 million for first.

Taipei followed with even larger festival-wide numbers: 26,009 entries, 3,890 unique players and $19.1 million in prizes. The Main Event brought in 2,354 entries and more than $3.5 million.

APT Incheon may be missing from the current 2027 list, but it was no small part of this season. Its Main Event reached 1,393 entries and a KRW 3 billion prize pool, while the complete series paid approximately KRW 15.97 billion.

The second Jeju stop then went beyond Incheon at festival level, awarding KRW 19.44 billion across 130 trophy events after 10,667 entries.

And yet, one piece of the 2026 puzzle is still missing. This year’s APT Championship does not begin until November 13, with the $10,000 Main Event carrying $5 million guaranteed.

By the time that tournament finishes, APT will have one more benchmark to put beside its 2027 calendar.
