Irish Open Marrakech 2026
This season, the Irish Poker Open discovered it doesn't need to stay just in one place. So, after more than four decades as one of the best-known fixtures on the European live calendar, the Irish Open began taking its name abroad. Sydney came first; Marrakech is now next.

From November 10–15, Casino de Marrakech becomes the setting for the first Moroccan edition, trading late-autumn Ireland for the warmer surroundings of Es Saadi Resort and filling six days with 36 tournaments.

The Main Event begins one day after the festival opens. Day 1A starts at noon on November 11, followed by Day 1B at the same time on Thursday. Friday is the busier day, beginning with Day 1C at 11 a.m. before a turbo flight gets underway at 7 p.m.

All four flights begin with 50,000 chips.

The first three use 40-minute levels, while the final turbo shortens the clock to 20 minutes. Registration remains open through Level 10, and players who qualify more than once take only their largest stack into Day 2.

Anyone looking to avoid the full Main Event buy-in has options on both sides of the flight to Morocco.

Online satellites are being offered through operators including PokerStars, Paddy Power, Winamax and iPoker. The exact structure differs from room to room, with some routes awarding a Main Event seat and others including hotel accommodation as part of a package.

Then there is the live route. Casino de Marrakech has scheduled Main Event satellites from the opening night of the festival through Friday afternoon and evening. The cheapest are 1,500 MAD, roughly €139, while larger satellites cost 2,800 MAD.
