Day 6 of the 2026 WSOP featured Phil Hellmuth making the final 14 in the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Championship, David Prociak leading the Mini Mystery Millions, Alex Foxen reaching the $25,000 Heads-Up semifinals, and Adam Cohen leading the $600 Deepstack.
Action intensified on Day 6 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, featuring deep tournament runs, legendary line-ups, and the final stages of prestigious championship events.
Only 14 players remain in Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, where Phil Hellmuth is positioned to chase a record-extending 18th WSOP gold bracelet.
Hellmuth experienced a volatile day on the leaderboard, capturing the chip lead with 18 players left before suffering a late-night slump. He will return for the next stage sitting sixth in chips.
Scott Clements secured the chip lead earlier in the day and held his position. Returning with nearly 2 million in chips, the three-time bracelet winner enters Day 3 of the split-pot championship as the odds-on favorite.
He faces a highly competitive field, including Dylan Weisman, who holds a stack nearly equal to that of Clements, alongside Todd Brunson, Josh Arieh, and James Obst. The eventual champion will take home a top prize of $450,176 along with the WSOP gold bracelet.
Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions No-Limit Hold'em has reached its final 13 players. The massive tournament attracted a total field of 20,488 entries, creating a total prize pool of $7,747,082. From that amount, $4,097,600 was allocated to the mystery bounty pool, which saw Andrew Shelton pull the top bounty prize.
David Prociak ended the penultimate day of play as the overall chip leader, bagging a stack of 88,000,000 as he attempts to add another WSOP bracelet to his career accolades. Alexander Kaviani sits second on the leaderboard, and Jurgen Pirgu holds the third-place position.
Every returning player has guaranteed themselves a payout of at least $21,790, with the remaining field targeting the $400,000 top prize and the gold bracelet.
Following two rounds of play on Day 2 of Event #7: $25,000 Heads Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship, only four players remain in contention. American high-stakes professional Alex Foxen advanced to the final day of play, seeking his fourth career bracelet. Foxen recently won the $100,000 Triton Main Event at the 2024 WSOP Paradise for $3.8 million.
Foxen is scheduled to face Russia's Nikita Kuznetsov in the semifinals. The other semifinal bracket features Bulgarian bracelet winner Dimitar Danchev matching up against Japan's Ryuta Nakai. Both Kuznetsov and Nakai are competing for their first career WSOP bracelets.
In Event #8: $1,500 Badugi, the tournament drew 554 entries to generate a first-place prize of $141,963. Michael Casella, a high-level chess player who transitioned to poker, put himself in contention for poker history. Casella entered the tournament with four career WSOP cashes.
Event #10: $600 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em completed its opening day of play. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Marco Johnson, who has accumulated more than $5.5 million in live tournament earnings, bagged a top-10 chip stack of 1,535,000.
Johnson trails a small group of players, including overall day-one chip leader Adam Cohen, who ended the night with 2,300,000 chips.
