PLO Cash Game World Championship
CoinPoker has been on a roll lately and based on what we're seen, it hasn't got any plans of slowing down. Just this month, it's launched its third annual Cash Game World Championship (CGWC), and this time, it’s all about Pot-Limit Omaha.

The Championship started yesterday, October 6 at 12:00 UTC and is going to be running for almost an entire month, until November 2 at midnight. So, what's in it for you?

Within this time frame, players get the chance to compete across rake-free PLO tables for a shot at more than $55,000 in prizes, including a $15,000 Rolex for the overall champion. So, let's break it down bit by bit.

PLO CGWC Format and Rules

The CGWC is taking place across branded PLO tables, running 6-Max with 100BB buy-ins. Two stake levels are available: $2.50/$5 and $10/$20, with no heads-up play allowed. If a table drops to two players, hands played in that configuration won’t count toward the leaderboard.

An ante of 1BB total is in place when six players are seated, and in a twist the winner of every hand must automatically show their cards, regardless of how the hand ends.

PLO CGWC Leaderboard Prizes

The top five players will be determined by leaderboard performance, calculated by tracked hands played and results at PLO CGWC tables. A minimum of 20,000 hands must be played (excluding heads-up) to qualify for a final prize.

Here’s what’s on the line:

Rank
Prize
1$15,000 Rolex
2$5,000 cash
3$4,000 cash
4$3,000 cash
5$2,000 cash

Leaderboard standings are updated daily at 12:00 UTC.

Weekly VIP Games

Every Sunday at 5 PM UTC, a special $5,000 PLO 7-Max VIP Game will run, featuring two VIPs and five community qualifiers. Players can earn seats by meeting unique weekly criteria such as:
  • Playing the most hands
  • Having the highest VPIP when 6-handed (min. 2,000 hands)
  • Being the biggest $ loser
  • Running the most under EV
  • Submitting the “Coolest Hand Played,” as voted by the community on X (formerly Twitter)

Qualifying hands are reviewed every Saturday, and players can give away their VIP seat to another CGWC participant if they’re unable to attend.

Bonus Rewards from PLO Genius

In partnership with PLO Genius, CoinPoker is also offering coaching-related bonuses to the most active and successful players:
  • All players who log 10,000+ hands receive 1-month PRO access to PLO Genius.
