Fedor Holz is proving that there is life after the high-stakes grind. The German superstar has officially announced his exit from the GGPoker ambassador team, ending a six-year run with the online poker giant. The announcement, shared via social media, outlines a future where poker takes a secondary role to family planning and entrepreneurial pursuits.

A Deliberate Departure

Unlike many who "retire" only to return weeks later, Holz’s move seems calculated and permanent in its scope. He plans to launch an investment fund later this year, utilizing the same strategic depth that earned him over $40 million in live tournament winnings. "My priorities are shifting," Holz noted, specifically mentioning the desire to start a family in 2026.

The New Poker "Part-Timer"

Though his ambassador days are over, Holz isn't hanging up his cards for good. He remains one of the most feared competitors in the world and plans to maintain a presence at select high-tier events, specifically targeting the Triton Poker series.

This transition allows Holz to keep a foot in the door of the elite poker world while dedicating the majority of his time to his new role as a businessman and, hopefully, a father.
