Patrick Leonard has secured another victory in the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), winning Event 56-M: $215 Fixed-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw. Leonard navigated a field of 132 entries to take the first-place prize of $5,569. The tournament generated a total prize pool of $26,400.
Performance Across Formats
This result follows two other titles for Leonard in the current series. Earlier in the schedule, he won the $530 Sunday Supersonic and a $1,050 PLO8 event. These results across No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, and Triple Draw highlight a consistent performance level across multiple poker disciplines rather than a focus on a single format
UK Presence at the Final Table
The final table of the $215 Triple Draw event featured a strong showing from United Kingdom players. Leonard defeated fellow Brit “CnlSayWanker” during heads-up play, while “The TJS,” also from the UK, finished in third place. In the higher-stakes version of the event ($1,050 buy-in), Leonard added a fifth-place finish for $3,322, while UK player “elkKJliow” took third.
