GTO Wizard has officially launched a standalone Pot Limit Omaha solver featuring free, premium, and elite subscription tiers. The tool provides decision trees, a trainer, and solved libraries to help cash game grinders, tournament players, and coaches study the game.

GTO Wizard has officially expanded its poker training platform this week with the rollout of a standalone Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) solver. This product launch follows a teaser released last month that hinted at an imminent PLO study tool.

The expansion represents a major operational development for the company, which first debuted its flagship Texas hold'em product five years ago.

This initial release has sparked widespread interest across the broader poker community as players explore the capabilities and structural design of the newly available software.

Developing effective study tools for Pot Limit Omaha has historically presented unique technical hurdles for poker training platforms. The fundamental challenge stems from the massive mathematical disparity in starting card combinations between game variants.

While standard Texas hold'em features 1,326 unique starting hand combinations, the four hole cards dealt in PLO generate approximately 270,000 possible starting hand combinations.

Due to this massive volume of data, previous study resources have typically relied on distinct structural compromises:
  • Local Solvers: These programs provide deep, granular analysis but operate slowly and remain difficult for players to utilize at a meaningful scale.
  • Static Libraries: These tools offer faster overall access times but come paired with fixed structures and heavily limited postflop coverage.
  • This historical divide has left a prominent gap between theoretical accuracy and accessible, user-friendly study tools for everyday players.

The new PLO offering from GTO Wizard is designed to bridge this historical gap by introducing an integrated ecosystem. Daily testing highlights several core functional elements built to establish a frictionless study experience for users.

Hand analysis can be converted quickly into focused study sessions. The platform features filtering mechanics that allow users to break down and isolate specific poker spots with minimal effort.

Players are granted instant access to the built-in trainer, meaning they can drill specific hands directly within the trainer interface without needing to switch between different tools.

The software delivers clear visual layouts. Users can easily trace interactive decision trees all the way from preflop choices through to the river.
The platform is explicitly structured for any player committed to improving their four-card poker game. The available resources are designed to cater directly to cash game grinders, tournament regulars, and hold'em players who are actively attempting to transition into the world of PLO.

Beyond individual players, the tool is built to support coaches, staking groups, and poker study communities looking to establish structured hand reviews and uniform training routines.

The depth of the available resources ensures that users who dedicate regular time to study will have continuous access to educational material.

GTO Wizard has structured its new PLO solver as an entirely standalone subscription. It operates completely separate from the existing hold'em product, allowing players to subscribe to either tool individually or utilize both options depending on their specific requirements.
