Scotty Nguyen Poker Legend

The absolute legend Scotty Nguyen managed to bank around $15k in a small field tournament during the No Filter Poker Series event in Tallinn.

According to the The Hendon Mob this would be his second, official, live event cash this year.
What is Scotty doing in Tallinn you might wonder?

Scotty Nguyen, Mizrachi and other legends

Scotty and the newly appointed GGPoker ambassador The Grinder are currently in Tallinn for the No Filter Poker Series which is a relatively new live event that targets the Nordic and Baltic poker communities.

Several proper legends were invited to a Legends Tournament in Tallinn by the controversial and energetic founder Mounir Tanjou that has an impressive vision with this poker festival.
Anyone pushing live events will always have our support and hopefully this event will find its place in the soon-to-be-crowded schedule of live events in Europe.

Mounir who has been a reg at Casino Cosmopol, before shutting down, and some underground poker clubs in the Stockholm area made his international debut during the WSOP Main Event 2025 when he showed The Grinder his bluff, although he was in the lead you might say, in a manner that a lot of people felt was disrespectful.

We believe that episode was the beginning of a beautiful friendship that led Mizrachi to travel all the way to Tallinn, Estonia, with a quick pit-stop in Stockholm.

Scotty busts in 3rd place

Out of a field with 18 entries, in a €5k buy-in Texas NL 6max, Scotty managed to bust 3rd which paid him €14,900.
He was up against a Finnish and an Estonian player and drew the short straw - after all, this festival is a Nordic and Baltic event right? The Finnish player was a regular at the venue, Juha Helppi, 4th in Finlands all time money list. Another Legend of the game.

Following up on his 39th place in the WSOP Seniors where Scotty cashed just shy of $18,000 this cash in Tallinn would be his second, official, ITM result, this year.
