Ben Tollerene secured his second Triton Main Event title in Jeju, pocketing $3,766,000 after a dominant final-table performance. Meanwhile, Kristen Foxen achieved a career-best $1.45 million fourth-place finish, further cementing her status as a premier high-stakes poker icon.

Career-best scores were the theme on Thursday as Ben Tollerene captured a second Triton Main Event title, winning the $100k NLH Main Event at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju for $3,766,000.

The Texan, now with more than $36 million in live earnings, held off a late surge from Philip Sternheimer heads-up to add to his PLO Main Event title from Triton Montenegro last year. Meanwhile, Kristen Foxen also banked a career-best payday with a fourth-place finish.

Tollerene, who entered the final table with a sizable chip lead, faced challenges from some of the world’s best, including reigning GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri, third-placed Elton Tsang, and Foxen herself.

Foxen was attempting to achieve the largest ever cash by a female player, a pursuit that saw her fold Kings preflop with nine players remaining in one of the most talked-about hands of the series.

However, the day belonged to Tollerene. He proved his class once again, collecting his fourth Triton title and joining close friend Jason Koon as a two-time Triton Main Event winner.

"I'm obviously very pleased. I had no cashes going into today on this trip so I was feeling not so great about how everything was going," Tollerene told Triton after his victory. "And then everything aligned today and yesterday and I somehow did it again."

He added: "These are the biggest tournaments in the world. I also think just having all the best players in the world here, it kind of lifts me up. I want to show them I'm on that level and that I can compete against them. That motivates me."

Foxen Secures Historic Payout with Fourth-Place Finish

There was also yet another phenomenal run for Kristen Foxen on the Triton tour. The reigning GPI Female Player of the Year and all-time money leader showed her class once again to finish 4th and bank $1,449,000.

Foxen, who has now cashed sixteen times on the Triton circuit, is building a strong affinity with the Les a Casino in Jeju. Her only other seven-figure win came at this venue in the $125k NLH 7-Handed for $1,104,000 in September of last year.

The Canadian star is no stranger to headlines, and she grabbed them again at this final table by folding pocket kings preflop. The move came during a high-pressure ICM spot while play was still nine-handed.

While she was in pursuit of the all-time record win by a female player (currently held by Liv Boeree), Foxen can consider her disciplined approach justified after climbing from 6th in chips to a $1.4M payday.
