CYPRUS – If you've been paying attention to WPT's early-season calendar over the past few years, you probably saw this one coming. WPT Prime Cyprus is back on the books for February 25 to March 9 this year, returning to the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa.

It’s not planned as the biggest stop on the schedule, but it also doesn’t need to be. The structure sticks to what WPT knows (and does) best, the field is deep enough to make things interesting, and the weather’s a welcome distraction from most places in early March. 

The full festival schedule hasn’t been released yet, but the $1,100 Main Event is locked in with a $1 million guarantee. Here's what we know so far

The WPT Prime Cyprus Championship: What We Know


The 2026 Main Event will follow the standard WPT Prime format: $1,100 buy-in, multiple flights, and a structure favoroing regulars.

Exact flight breakdowns and blind levels haven’t been make public yet, but based on previous Prime stops, the setup should feel familiar enough. 

Qualifiers Available on WPT Global

With the event just a month away, WPT Global has already launched its qualification path to Cyprus, with satellites expected to run regularly up until March. Entry points start low, around the $0.55 range, and ladder up toward full package qualifiers, some of which include accommodation and travel.
