WPT Global Opens Multiple Routes to WPT Prime Cyprus 2026

WPT Global has put its qualification system in place for WPT Prime Cyprus, offering several ways for players to reach the $1 million guaranteed Championship without buying in directly.
The setup is flexible by design. Players can start from $1.10 feeders, move through weekly satellite finals, or skip buy-ins entirely via scheduled freerolls. Those who qualify earn a $2,000 live package, which includes the Championship entry, travel support, and a $100,000 Golden Ticket that adds a separate bonus layer if the event is won.
Here’s how the system works and what the numbers actually look like.
How the Satellite System Is Structured
All qualifiers take place on WPT Global and feed into a single weekly package event.
The entry ladder starts with $1.10 and $11 feeders, which run daily and lead into $110 satellite finals. These finals are held every Sunday at 19:00 UTC, with each one guaranteeing WPT Prime Cyprus packages for top finishers.
Rather than relying on one-shot qualifiers, the system allows players to re-enter the ladder regularly. Daily feeders and weekly finals give players repeated chances to progress over time rather than forcing a single high-risk attempt.
Alongside paid satellites, freerolls and alternative entry methods run in parallel.
What Winners Receive in the Cyprus Package
Each successful qualifier earns a $2,000 WPT Prime Cyprus package, made up of the following components:
- $1,100 seat in the $1,000,000 GTD WPT Prime Cyprus Championship
- $900 travel allowance
- $100,000 Golden Ticket
- Exclusive WPT Global merchandise
The package is weighted toward tournament access, with the travel allowance intended to offset costs rather than cover a full trip.
How the Golden Ticket Works
The Golden Ticket is tied specifically to WPT Global qualifiers. Any player who enters the Championship using a Golden Ticket becomes eligible for an additional $100,000 payout if they win the event.
This bonus is paid separately from the prize pool and does not affect payouts for other players. There are no rollover conditions or post-event requirements. If the Golden Ticket holder wins the Championship, the bonus is credited directly.
It turns a standard qualification package into one with an unusually high upside, without changing the structure of the tournament itself.
Freerolls and Passport Dollar Entries
For players who prefer not to buy in, WPT Global is also running weekly freerolls every Saturday at 19:00 UTC, each awarding a $1,100 Championship seat.
Players can earn up to four freeroll tickets per week by:
