WPT Releases 2026 World Championship Schedule With $20M+ Guaranteed

The wait for the WPT World Championship schedule is over.
The World Poker Tour has released the full calendar for its 2026 season finale at Wynn Las Vegas, with the festival running from November 27 through December 21 and putting more than $20 million in guaranteed prize pools on the board.
Buy-ins start at $400 and climb to $25,800, while the schedule brings back the WPT World Championship and WPT Prime alongside a new $3 million guaranteed event.
WPT World Championship Returns December 13
The tournament everyone will circle first is the $10,400 WPT World Championship, scheduled for December 13-20.
Three starting flights run from December 13-15. Players can fire once per flight, with one last registration window available before Day 2 begins on December 16.
There is also a new element this year. ClubWPT Gold is adding $1 million in Mystery Bounty cash and prizes, with that money sitting on top of the regular prize pool generated by entries.

Last year's Main Event drew 1,865 entries, with Schuyler Thornton eventually winning the title and $2,098,456.
$5M WPT Prime and New $3M Event Lead the Sides
The Main Event sits in the middle of a much broader December schedule.
The $1,100 WPT Prime Championship returns from December 5-12 with $5 million guaranteed. Four starting flights run before the surviving field combines on December 9.
A few days later comes one of the biggest additions to this year's calendar. The new $400 Super Gold Million carries a $3 million guarantee and uses a Mystery Bounty format. Four starting flights are scheduled across December 10 and 11, with the final table on December 14.
There is plenty beyond the two championship events as well. A $3,000 NLH tournament carries $2 million guaranteed, while $1 million guarantees appear on both a $1,600 PLO and a late-festival $1,600 Mystery Bounty.
