New features on Poker Heaven!

We have recently updated our software!. This update hosts a number of exciting new features that you have been asking for, and no doubt will improve your overall gaming experience within our poker room. Below are the key new features available

Hurry, It’s Your Turn

If you like to Multi-Table then you will undoubtedly appreciate a little reminder when it is your turn to act on a table. When it is your turn to act you can choose either to have the poker game window moved to the front of any other open window or have the taskbar button associated with the poker game blink in your task bar. Under the SETTINGS tab in the lobby, you can choose either ‘Push to front’ or ‘Blink in toolbar’ next to the ‘On action’ field.

New poker features

A Waiting List at the Table

If you wish to join a full table (either a cash or practise game), as per normal you can put your name on the waiting list for that table via the lobby. However, in addition, you can now join the waiting list even when observing the table. To do so please click on the JOIN WAITING LIST button which is visible in the lower right corner of the game table window. With a click you will be placed on the list.

New poker features

Hey, That’s My Seat!

When you wish to join a game table that has a vacancy, you can now choose where you wish to sit at the table. After you select a position at the table by clicking the SIT HERE button next to a seat, you will then be able to select which position at the table you would like to occupy. The other players will be shifted to allow you to sit in your favourite seat, every time!

A New Balancing Act

The rules used to balance the tables when you remain in a multi-table tournament have been more logically altered. When you are redistributed, the following balancing rules apply:

  1. The player who is next in line to post the big blind at an overpopulated table is the one to be moved. However, in stud games, the player who is moved is randomly chosen.
  2. At the new table, the player who has been relocated assumes the vacant seat that is closest to the left of the big blind (In stud games the new seat location is random since it is unimportant).
  3. If the player is moved to a seat between the dealer button and the small blind, he will not be dealt any cards until the dealer button has been passed by.
  4. If there are only two tables remaining and all players go ‘all in’ at one of the tables, a player will be moved to the other table if there is a vacancy (rather than balancing the tables once before moving all players to the final table.)
