Espen Jørstad Joins Epicbet as Poker Ambassador

One of the best poker players in the world, Espen Jørstad, joined EpicBet as its new brand ambassador in May 2026.

Epicbet has confirmed Espen Uhlen Jørstad as its new poker ambassador, adding one of the most respected modern world champions to its growing poker project.
The Norwegian has already been seen wearing an Epicbet patch at major live stops including WSOP, EPT and Triton events. Now the partnership is official, with Jørstad set to represent the brand both on the live circuit and, later this summer, online when Epicbet Poker joins the iPoker network.
For Epicbet, the signing gives the brand a recognisable face at the exact moment it is preparing to move deeper into poker. For Jørstad, it marks a new ambassador role with a team he says he already knows well.

A World Champion Fronting Epicbet Poker
Jørstad is best known for winning the 2022 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas, where he topped a field of 8,663 players and collected the $10,000,000 first prize.
That victory made him the first Norwegian player ever to win the WSOP Main Event, and it came during a breakout summer in which he also won a WSOP bracelet in the $1,000 Tag Team event alongside Patrick Leonard.
Since then, Jørstad has remained a visible presence in high level tournament poker, with appearances across major international festivals and the super high roller circuit. His live results now place him clearly at the top of Norway’s all time poker money list.
Just as important for an ambassador role, Jørstad has built a public image that goes beyond results. He is widely seen as calm, thoughtful and approachable, with a background that includes online poker, streaming and high stakes live tournaments.

Who Is Espen Uhlen Jørstad?
Espen Uhlen Jørstad is a Norwegian professional poker player from Levanger, Norway, now based in London.
Before poker became his full time profession, Jørstad studied brewing science at the University of Copenhagen and worked in the brewing industry. He later became known in the online poker world through streaming and high volume play, building a reputation as a serious grinder long before his WSOP breakthrough.
His career changed dramatically in 2022. First came the Tag Team bracelet with Patrick Leonard. Then came the Main Event title, the $10,000,000 payday and a permanent place in poker history.

Live Events and iPoker Launch Ahead
Epicbet says players will be able to meet Jørstad at its live events, including the Epicbet Club Championship 2026 at Banco Casino in Bratislava.
The event is scheduled for September 16 to 21, 2026, adding another major poker date to Banco Casino’s growing live tournament calendar.
The announcement also points to Epicbet Poker joining the iPoker network during the summer. That move would put Epicbet into a shared liquidity environment with established iPoker operators, giving the brand access to a wider player pool for cash games, tournaments and satellites.
For a new poker room, signing a former WSOP Main Event champion is a clear statement. For players, the more important test will come when the product goes live: tournament schedule, liquidity, promotions, software experience and whether Epicbet can convert attention into a real poker community.
