APT Jeju 2025 broke records with 11,821 entries and KRW 18.46 billion in prizes. Abraham Ceesvin won the Main Event, and Ngo Khoa Anh captured the High Roller title, making this the richest poker festival ever held in Korea.

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Jeju 2025 made history as the richest APT festival ever held in Korea, setting two international records and redefining the scale of live poker in Asia. 

Held over 10 days at LES A Casino in Jeju Shinhwa World, the festival attracted 1,444 unique players from 48 countries, generating a remarkable 11,821 total entries across 99 trophy events and 4 satellites.

The total prize pool reached KRW 18,463,730,934 (≈ USD 13.19 million) — marking a 37% increase in entries and an impressive 49.7% rise in prize money compared to APT Jeju 2024. 

With six more trophy events added to the schedule and 13 national records broken, APT Jeju 2025 cemented its position as a milestone event in global poker history.

APT Jeju 2025 Main Event

The APT Jeju 2025 Main Event (KRW 2.6M buy-in) became the centerpiece of the festival, drawing 1,693 total entries — the largest APT Main Event field ever recorded in Korea. 

The final prize pool reached KRW 3,803,155,200 (~USD 2,716,540), making it the richest Main Event in Korean poker history.

Abraham Ceesvin emerged victorious, claiming the APT Jeju 2025 Main Event title and a top prize of KRW 649,835,200 (~USD 464,170). 

Along with the trophy, Ceesvin also earned an APT Championship Main Event seat valued at KRW 14 million (~USD 10,000).

Lili Tang finished runner-up, taking home KRW 364,460,000 (~USD 260,330) and an additional APT Championship Main Event seat. 

Signature Lion Trophy Events

The Signature Lion Trophy Events added further prestige to APT Jeju 2025, with record-setting fields and payouts across multiple high-stakes tournaments:
  • Super High Roller (KRW 15M): 97 entries, setting new records for field size, prize pool, and top payout — ranking as the second-richest event of the festival.
  • APT High Roller (KRW 5M): Broke previous Korean records for entries and prize money, standing as the fourth-largest prize pool of the festival.
  • SuperStar Challenge (KRW 35M): Generated the third-largest pool, reaching KRW 1.326 billion.

Together, the top 10 events of the festival contributed KRW 12,907,716,900 to the overall prize money, demonstrating the immense scale and participation of the 2025 edition.

Ngo Khoa Anh Triumphs in APT High Roller

Vietnam’s Ngo Khoa Anh made his mark in one of the festival’s most prestigious tournaments — the 
APT High Roller (KRW 5M buy-in). The event attracted a record-breaking field of 305 entries, the largest Korean High Roller field ever, and generated a KRW 1,317,600,000 prize pool.

After a swift and decisive heads-up battle against Fabian Gumz, Ngo Khoa Anh claimed the APT High Roller title, securing KRW 261,400,000 (~USD 186,715) and an APT Championship Main Event seat worth KRW 14 million (~USD 10,000).

Gumz earned KRW 173,770,000 (~USD 124,000) for his runner-up finish, further highlighting the strength of the field. Ngo’s win marked a significant career milestone, positioning him among Vietnam’s leading poker professionals.

Beyond the staggering numbers, APT Jeju 2025 signified Korea’s growing dominance in the Asian poker landscape. 

By breaking multiple records in both field size and payouts, the festival reinforced APT’s rapid expansion and the rising standard of poker competition across the region.
