Chesterfield Poker Club closes immediately as Bombay Group centralises daily games at Bombay Club. New rooms, streaming facilities, and festival plans will reshape Tallinn’s poker landscape.

Chesterfield Poker Club has ended operations as of today. Bombay Group, which has led Estonian poker for several years, will now run all daily cash games and smaller competitions from the Bombay Club on Rataskaevu Street.

A new poker room will open there shortly. The group intends to grow its large-field event plans during the coming year.

Jesse May, head of poker strategy at Bombay Group, outlines a clear direction. Traditional cash-game sessions will take place under fifteenth-century vaults in Tallinn’s Old Town.
The familiar Bad Beat Jackpot, already above one hundred thousand euros, will follow players to the new location.

May says the decision to consolidate is driven by daily demand. Tallinn needs a high-quality room more than it needs a spread of unrelated spaces.

A second poker room will soon open inside the Bombay Club complex for regular games. The new Bombay Streaming Room will host regular broadcasts of tournaments and cash games, extending the club’s reach far beyond its walls.

The larger strategy looks toward festivals with hundreds or even thousands of players. May believes Estonia has deep traditions and a strong foundation as a poker destination.

He sees major untapped potential for large-scale festivals. These events could strengthen the local community and provide a boost to the Estonian tourism sector.

Chesterfield’s closure marks the end of an important stage. The past eighteen months allowed the team to build, test, and refine every process that now supports Bombay Club.

With the flagship venue fully operational, the group is combining both brands into one high-quality poker room that aims to lead the region.
