WSOP Europe 2026 in Prague features confirmed appearances from Hellmuth, Mizrachi, Deeb, Kabrhel, and Lonis. With additional stars and strong recent performances, the series is set to deliver one of the most competitive European poker line-ups.
WSOP Europe 2026 is already shaping into one of the most competitive editions in recent years, with multiple high-profile confirmations setting the tone early.
Scheduled to take place in Prague, Czech Republic, the series will once again be split across the Hilton Atrium and King’s Casino, two venues that have become synonymous with European bracelet action. The early list of confirmed players signals one thing clearly. This will not be a soft field.
Star Players Confirmed for Prague
Five of poker’s most recognized and accomplished names have officially committed to the series. Their presence alone raises the competitive ceiling significantly.
These players bring a mix of legacy dominance, recent peak form, and local advantage, creating a rare blend of narratives heading into the series.
Jesse Lonis - At just 30, Jesse Lonis has already built a resume that rivals long-time professionals. With 3 WSOP Circuit titles and 2 WSOP bracelets, he has crossed $6 million in WSOP earnings.
His defining moment came in 2023, winning the $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller for $2,303,017. While names like Bryn Kenney, Isaac Haxton, Alex Foxen, and Erik Seidel still sit above him in New York rankings, Lonis is closing that gap fast.
Martin Kabrhel - Martin Kabrhel enters WSOP Europe 2026 as the most successful Czech tournament player of all time. Playing in Prague gives him both familiarity and crowd backing.
He holds five WSOP bracelets, with four coming from WSOP Europe events. His latest win came at WSOP Europe 2025 in the €10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event, earning €188,500. He also owns a Circuit ring from King’s Casino Rozvadov.
Shaun Deeb - Shaun Deeb remains one of the most consistent performers in WSOP history. He is one of only two players to win WSOP Player of the Year twice, alongside Daniel Negreanu.
Deeb’s recent run adds serious weight to his Prague appearance. In 2025, he won the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller for $2,957,229, securing his seventh bracelet. He followed it up with an eighth bracelet at WSOP Europe 2025 in the €50,000 GGMillion€ event.
Phil Hellmuth - Phil Hellmuth remains the benchmark in WSOP history with 17 bracelets. Known as the Poker Brat, he continues to compete at the highest level decades after his 1989 WSOP Main Event win.
He also captured the 2012 WSOP Europe Main Event, making Prague a familiar hunting ground. The 2026 series presents another opportunity to extend a record that still stands unmatched.
Michael Mizrachi - Michael Mizrachi enters WSOP Europe 2026 on one of the most dominant runs in poker history. In 2025, he won the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for the fourth time, then followed it by taking down the WSOP Main Event for $10,000,000. That victory marked his eighth bracelet.
Shortly after, he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. His WSOP Europe history includes a win in the €10,400 Split-Format No-Limit Holdem event in 2011 for €336,008.
Additional Confirmed Names & Promotion
The field continues to deepen with more notable confirmations:
- John Juanda
- Annette Obrestad
Both players bring experience and pedigree, adding further weight to an already stacked line-up.
WSOP Europe 2026 will also feature the Rise in Prague Golden Egg Hunt promotion, adding a recreational and engagement-driven layer to the series. While details are still emerging, it signals a continued push to blend competitive poker with interactive experiences.
