Daniel Pidun wins the WSOP Europe 2025 Main Event for €1,140,000, closing the Rozvadov era at King’s Resort. The series also saw major victories for Martin Kabrhel, Shaun Deeb, Tobias Peters, and others in one of poker’s defining European chapters.

The World Series of Poker Europe 2025 concluded in dramatic fashion at King’s Resort, Rozvadov, closing a historic chapter for the venue that has hosted the series since 2017.

The event featured milestone victories, surprise comebacks, and standout performances from established champions and emerging players alike.

From Martin Kabrhel’s fifth bracelet to Daniel Pidun’s triumphant return, this year’s festival was a true reflection of poker’s global evolution.

Daniel Pidun Wins WSOP Europe 2025 Main Event

The spotlight of WSOP Europe 2025 belonged to Daniel Pidun, who captured his first WSOP gold bracelet and the €1,140,000 top prize after defeating Gerald Karlic in the €10,350 Main Event.

The final hand of the series—a dramatic preflop all-in between Pidun’s pocket aces and Karlic’s pocket jacks—symbolically brought the curtain down on the Rozvadov era.

Pidun’s victory was not just about the cards but the journey that led him back to the felt. Known for his EPT Berlin Main Event title in 2013, where he earned €880,000, Pidun had largely stepped away from professional poker over the past decade.

With just five recorded cashes since 2013—including final table appearances in the €50,000 Diamond High Roller (2022) and €100,000 Diamond High Roller (2019)—his return to the WSOP Europe stage was both unexpected and momentous.

While Pidun’s career had been on pause, his brother Thomer Pidun carried the family name with distinction, winning the €2,000 Eight-Game Mix in 2022.

With Daniel’s win, the Pidun brothers join an exclusive list of sibling bracelet winners that includes the Mizrachis, Hinkles, Zamanis, and Les families—cementing their shared place in WSOP history.

Karlic entered the heads-up duel with a commanding 49,850,000 to 16,075,000 chip lead, but the advantage disappeared in a single decisive hand. When Pidun’s aces held, it not only sealed his comeback but also marked a poetic ending to the final WSOP Europe held at King’s Resort.
