GGMillions Season 2025

Some final tables are slow burns. Others ignite immediately. This week’s GGMillion$ took the latter route, with short stacks dropping like confetti before the deeper stacks finally locked horns. And at the end of it all, Serbia’s Danilo Velasevic claimed the Episode 41 title along with $1,393,371, surviving momentum shifts, lost leads, regained leads, and one extremely fortunate river.

A Final Table That Didn’t Believe in Warm-Up Phases

Only minutes in, ‘lllllllletsRoll’ ran A♠K♠ straight into J♥J♦ and exited in ninth.

Eighth place followed immediately as Klemens Roiter watched his A♦K♦ lose to Arie Muller’s Q♠9♠ on a queen-high flop.

Then came Barak Wisbrod’s pocket fours failing to outrun fives, followed by ‘maratenok1985’ losing K♣Q♥ against A♣J♦. After the frantic first twenty minutes, the field was somehow already down to five.

When the pace finally slowed, ‘LucynaKushinada’ became the fifth-place finisher after their 2♠2♦ ran into Velasevic’s 3♣3♦ and Velasevic found a set on the turn for good measure.

The Push Toward Heads-Up Play

Dante Fernandes was next, raising A♥K♥ before calling off against Velasevic’s 9♣9♦. A nine on the flop sealed it, and the Brazilian exited in fourth.

Three-handed play held firm for half an hour. Then the cruelest card of the day arrived: ‘littlepapi’, all in with A♠T♦ against Velasevic’s dominated A♦3♦, watched a river three end his run and send him out in third.

The Serbian entered heads-up slightly ahead and didn’t let it go again.

The Hand That Tilted the Match

The pivotal pot saw Muller hit bottom pair on a low flop, while Velasevic had top pair with additional outs. By the river, Velasevic improved to a straight. Muller, committed and outmaneuvered, paid off an 18 million river bet that left him nearly drawing dead.

Moments later, Muller was all-in with A♣3♥, ahead of Velasevic’s Q♠10♥. But this was Velasevic’s day the river brought a ten, the GGPoker tournament ended, and the Serbian lifted the title.
