The 2026 PokerGO Cup opened at PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas with Kent Stephens winning Event #1 $3,000 Showcase for $130,000 and Filipp Kavin taking Event #2 $5,000 Single Day for $124,525 after an ICM deal with Jesse Lonis.

The 2026 PokerGO Cup began at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas with victories for Kent Stephens and Filipp Kavin in the opening two tournaments of the high stakes series.

Stephens secured the first trophy of the festival by winning Event #1: $3,000 PokerGO Cup Showcase, while Kavin followed by claiming Event #2: $5,000 Single Day after striking an ICM deal with Jesse Lonis.

Kent Stephens Claims Event #1 $3,000 PokerGO Cup Showcase

Kent Stephens emerged victorious in Event #1 after overcoming Myles Mullaly in heads-up play to capture the title and $130,000 in prize money. Mullaly finished second and earned $85,000.

The tournament attracted 215 total entries across two starting flights, generating a prize pool of $645,000. Day 2 resumed with 31 remaining players, each already assured a minimum payout of $6,100.

Stephens navigated the returning field successfully to secure the first win of the PokerGO Cup schedule and a six-figure payday.


Filipp Kavin Wins Event #2 $5,000 Single Day

Filipp Kavin added his name to the winners list by taking down Event #2, the $5,000 Single Day tournament, for $124,525. Kavin reportedly arrived in Las Vegas shortly before the event began but still managed to put together the winning run.

The event drew 111 entries, creating a $555,000 prize pool. Kavin defeated Jesse Lonis heads-up after the two players agreed to an ICM deal. Lonis collected $105,800 for his runner-up finish.

The final table also featured several established professionals. Drake Kemper finished third for $63,825, while Dylan Linde placed seventh for $22,200. Other notable participants included Sean Winter, Cary Katz, and Tony Gregg, who made his PokerGO Studio debut during the event.

PokerGO Cup Series Continues

Following the opening tournaments, the PokerGO Cup schedule continues with additional events, including Event #3 and Event #4, both $5,000 Single Day tournaments, before the series moves into higher buy-in territory with Event #5, a $10,000 No Limit Hold'em tournament.

After strong turnout in the first two events, the remainder of the PokerGO Cup is expected to draw a competitive field of PokerGO Tour regulars and high stakes professionals.
