The Festival Series Bratislava
The Festival Series is back in the place where it first made its mark: Banco Casino Bratislava, newly refurbished and now operating as a dedicated poker venue. The 2025 stop runs 18–24 November, offering a week packed with formats, buy ins, and side attractions that reflect the brand’s reputation for mixing competitive poker with off-the-felt fun. This year’s lineup includes returning favourites, standout Mixed Game events, and the debut of a brand new Championship.

Chicago Makes Its Championship Debut

One of the most welcome additions to this stop is the €125 Chicago Championship, marking the first time the home-grown Swedish favorite appears as an official Festival title event.

Players have two flights daily through Saturday morning, each running roughly two and a half hours. The top performers progress through a sequence of rounds that ultimately narrow the field to a four-handed final.

The €250 Hendon Mob Championship Returns

A Festival staple returns as well: The Hendon Mob Championship, the €250 event that routinely draws one of the festival’s biggest fields. Vegard Granli won last year’s running after topping 436 entries and may yet return to defend the title. The first flight begins this afternoon with 30-minute levels and unlimited re-entries for the opening stretch.

Mixed Game Fans Get the €550 T.O.R.S.E.S.

Mixed Game players have a marquee event to circle: T.O.R.S.E.S., which plays out across two days and features a rotation of Triple Draw, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud Hi-Lo, and Sviten Special. The first flight runs today, with the second following on Wednesday and the final scheduled for Thursday.

The event debuted earlier this year in Malta, where Barrie Dear claimed the title. Bratislava now hosts the next chapter, and given the history of strong fields in this format, it should be one of the week’s most interesting events to track.
