Tony Ren Lin dominated the high-roller circuit at APT Jeju 2026, capturing both the Super High Roller and Superstar Challenge titles. His incredible comeback and back-to-back wins resulted in over USD 600,000 in earnings and two prestigious lion trophies.

The APT Jeju Classic 2026 will be remembered for the incredible performance of Tony Ren Lin. Known for his resilience and high-energy play style, Lin captured the headlines by winning two of the most prestigious events on the schedule.

His journey began in the Super High Roller, which featured 115 entries. Lin faced a significant deficit late in the tournament but managed to recover from a tiny stack. His victory over Ryuta Nakai set the stage for what many are calling "Linsanity" in South Korea.

Shortly after his first win, Lin joined the 49-entry field of the Superstar Challenge. This event carried a buy-in of KRW 35,000,000 and a prize pool of over KRW 1.6 billion.

Lin showed no signs of fatigue as he powered through the final table. A pivotal hand involving pocket queens helped him take control against Quang Minh Nguyen.

Lin eventually sealed the win with ten-five against Nguyen’s king-three, flopping a five to secure the title. This win marks one of the most impressive runs in APT history.

Along with the prize money, Lin received a second entry to the USD 5M guaranteed APT Championship. He mentioned that his goal for the trip was to win two titles, a feat he has now successfully accomplished.
