Rather than a single qualifying window, the road to Bogotá is spread across multiple days and buy-in levels.
How Qualification Works
WPT Global is hosting online satellites that award seats to the WPS Bogotá Main Event, which carries a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool and an $800 buy-in. In total, 44 Main Event seats are available through the platform during the satellite window.
The primary route runs through $80 winner-takes-all qualifiers. Each of these satellites guarantees one $800 Main Event seat, with no shared payouts or secondary prizes. For players who prefer to start smaller, $8 Step Satellites feed directly into the $80 qualifiers.
Satellite Schedule and Timing
The satellite schedule runs in two main phases. From January 9 to 11, $80 qualifiers run at 17:00, 19:00, and 21:00 local time in Bogotá, which operates on UTC minus five hours.
From January 14 through January 18, two daily qualifiers run at 17:00 and 19:00. The final stretch from January 19 to January 23 adds an earlier option, with satellites scheduled at 15:00, 17:00, and 19:00.
