The WSOP Circuit heads to Texas for the first time in Spring 2026. Texas Card House Austin secures hosting rights after years of legal battles.

The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) will visit Texas for the first time in its history. The debut series will take place in Spring 2026 at TCH Social, the Austin venue operated by Texas Card House.

The announcement marks a landmark shift for a state that has never hosted a WSOP-branded event despite a large player base and a sustained poker boom.

Texas Card House Secures WSOP Partnership

Texas Card House has confirmed that it is now the exclusive partner for WSOP Circuit stops in the state. The Austin room will host the inaugural stop, with dates and the full schedule set for release in the coming weeks. CEO Ryan Crow said the partnership has been a long-term goal that aligns with the club’s plans to expand tournament offerings within Texas.

Membership-Club Structure Shapes the Poker Landscape

Poker rooms in Texas operate under a unique model because state law does not allow rake to be taken from pots. Instead, rooms charge membership fees and hourly or daily seat charges. This structure has allowed major clubs to grow while staying within local regulations. Texas Card House, which now runs six locations, has become one of the largest operators in the state under this system.

Austin Hosts a Growing Tournament Scene

Austin has emerged as a key poker hub. The city has already attracted major tours, including the World Poker Tour, which recently brought a WPT Prime Championship event to The Lodge Card Club. The addition of a WSOP Circuit stop at TCH Social strengthens the region’s role as a central tournament destination in Texas.

Legal Victory Clears the Path

Texas Card House gained momentum after winning a long legal dispute with the City of Dallas in September. The ruling allowed the club to continue operations and reinforced the legal footing of membership-based poker rooms statewide. That outcome helped pave the way for bringing the WSOP Circuit to Texas for the first time.

A Milestone Moment for the Texas Poker Community

The announcement has been met with strong support from players who have pushed for major tournament brands to enter the state. According to Crow, the Spring 2026 series is the result of years of preparation and negotiation. He called the development an important moment for poker in Texas and a sign of the industry’s growing stability.

Texas will now join the expanding list of WSOP Circuit stops across North America. Full details are expected soon, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated new entries on the WSOP schedule.
