The record-breaking 2026 WSOP Europe Main Event has reached its final table at King's Casino, Prague. Nine players remain from 2,617 entries, all vying for a historic €2,000,000 top prize and the prestigious gold bracelet in this massive poker showdown.

The record-breaking 2026 WSOP Europe Main Event has narrowed a massive field of 2,617 entries down to the final nine hopefuls. This historic gathering at King's Casino in Prague has generated a staggering €13,085,000 prize pool, setting a new benchmark for the series.

For the eventual champion, a career-defining €2,000,000 payout awaits. This represents the largest Main Event prize in the history of the WSOP Europe. The journey to the finale was a treacherous one, claiming many high-profile victims along the way.

Among the fallen are Annette Obrestad, whose deep run teased a legendary comeback 19 years after her 2007 victory, and WSOP Player of the Year Shaun Deeb. Multi-time champions Josh Arieh and Shiina Okamoto also saw their dreams dashed by brutal coolers late in the tournament.

The Heavy Hitters and Rising Stars

Leading the charge toward the bracelet is Thomas Eychenne. The Frenchman, famously known as "LaWatch," is no stranger to the spotlight.

After an EPT Barcelona win in 2025 and a deep run in the 2023 PSPC, Eychenne is looking to turn his poker bankroll challenges into a multi-million-euro reality. His Day 5 performance was nothing short of miraculous, soaring from the shortest stack to a commanding 25,825,000 chips.

Hot on his heels is Brandon Sheils with 20,850,000. Sheils has made the WSOP bracelet his singular obsession, coming off a near-miss this summer. With over 360 live cashes to his name, he brings a wealth of experience to the high-stakes environment of the finale.

International Champions and Global Hopes

Representing the United States is Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen. Starting with 19,300,000, Hunichen aims to add a Main Event title to his 2024 $100,000 High Roller victory. A win here would secure his sixth seven-figure cash and bolster his incredible €17,000,000 in career earnings.

Marius Kudzmanas of Lithuania enters the fray with 18,050,000. While he has two online bracelets, he is hungry for a live title after a runner-up finish in Prague back in 2022.

He is joined by Akihiro Konishi, who is making his European debut. Konishi holds 14,400,000 and carries the hope of becoming the first Japanese player to win this prestigious title.

Bulgaria's Nikolay Bibov sits closely behind with 13,200,000, looking to match the success of fellow countryman Fahredin Mustafov, who secured a victory earlier in this series.

The Ultimate Underdog Stories

The final table is rounded out by two players experiencing the true "satellite dream." Spanish amateur Antonio Guimaraens (5,700,000) and Joona Nyholm (3,275,000) enter as the short stacks.

While they face an uphill battle, both players are just a few double-ups away from a life-changing score and a permanent place in the poker history books.
