The 2025 WSOP Paradise festival showcased standout victories by Sam Soverel, Matthias Eibinger, and Daniel Rezaei. The $60M Super Main Event advanced to Day 2b with 316 players still in contention.
The WSOP Paradise series held at Atlantis Paradise Island returned for 2025 with its strongest line-up yet. The festival began in 2023 with 15 bracelet events.
It expanded in 2024 with a Super Main Event that carried a $50 million guarantee. The 2025 edition increased that figure to $60 million and ran from December 4 to 18.
Key Highlights from WSOP Paradise 2025
Sam Soverel produced the first headline result of the series. He earned $2,594,000 in the $100,000 Triton PLO Main Event.
Matthias Eibinger followed with a $1,570,640 haul in the $75,000 Triton PLO 6-Handed event. Daniel Rezaei booked $1,900,000 in the $50,000 High Roller Turbo.
Mark Darner claimed the Mystery Bounty opener. Rokas Asipauskas took down the Super COLOSSUS. Event #9 crowned Aleksejs Ponakovs for $4,750,000.
Event #10 ended with João Simao winning $3,067,000. Event #12 saw Koray Aldemir secure $287,800 in the 8-Game Mix.
Super Main Event Day 2b
Event #11 advances today with 316 returning players. The field includes 138 players from Day 1c and 178 from Day 1d. Late registration stays open through the first three levels. Re-entries remain unlimited until that point. The prize pool has cleared the $60 million guarantee.
Day 2b highlights include Daniel Negreanu with 1,870,000 chips. Viktor Blom has 2,810,000. Chad Eveslage leads with 4,215,000. Espen Jorstad sits at 890,000. Scott Seiver maintains a strong position with 2,735,000.
