Record Mini Main Sets Pace at WSOP Circuit Tallinn

Before the €1,500 Main Event has even reached Day 2, the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn has already crowned champions from fields of 1,162, 677 and 198 entries.

Antti Perttula, Mehdi Yazdanpanah and Tarjei Forus have taken three of the most significant rings awarded during the first week. The Main Event is now growing around them, with France’s Baptiste Caim holding the largest stack from the completed flights.

Ring Event #1 immediately gave the Tallinn festival its first major number.

The €350 Mini Main drew 1,162 entries, setting a new local record for the event and producing a €342,209 prize pool. Finland’s Antti Perttula was the last player standing after defeating Victor Amat heads-up.

Perttula collected €54,300, with Amat banking €36,100. Robin Vanloot secured €25,200 in third, one of several strong performances by French players during the opening week.

Estonia came within one heads-up victory of claiming the €555 NLH ring through Mairo Tori.

Tori entered the final duel with a lead of approximately three to one and reduced Mehdi Yazdanpanah to a short stack. Two important river cards kept the Swedish player alive, however, and Yazdanpanah gradually turned the match in his favour.

He eventually won the title, €59,465 and his first ring of the series. Tori’s runner-up finish was worth €39,330, while Arasch Mirzai added another Swedish result in third.

The €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 ring event brought in 198 entries, creating a €188,100 prize pool.

Tarjei Forus claimed the ring and €43,930 after defeating Rasmus Ekström. The Finnish runner-up earned €28,370, with Latvia’s Vladislavs Petrovs taking third for €18,930.

Forus became the second Norwegian champion of the series, joining €350 Queens winner Vilde Ekren.

The festival’s central event remains in its starting-flight phase.

The €1,500 Main Event had registered 524 entries during the early levels of Day 1D on July 30. The fifth and final flight is still to come, while registration also remains open before the tournament progresses to Day 2.

Baptiste Caim has set a demanding target. His 1,098,000 stack is more than 13 times the 80,000 that will represent eight big blinds when the completed-flight qualifiers return at 5,000/10,000.

Robin Vanloot is the nearest challenger with 961,000, followed by Jussi Julkunen on 796,000 and Deividas Butnoras on 703,000.
